April 2017

Another exciting announcement! I'm honored to be joining the fabulous Deyan Audio family as a narrator! Coincidentally, I'm having my latest release, #BAE by Cambria Hebert, edited and mastered by them. I can't wait to hear the results. I had the pleasure of visiting Deyan Studios once for a Paul Alan Ruben workshop and it's a gorgeous facility. So excited!

I had an INCREDIBLE time at VO Atlanta this year- a conference for everything voice over! So much to learn, so many new friends made, and even some swing dancin' with the one and only Johnny Heller! I just can't say enough about this amazing weekend. Whether you're just starting out or are a seasoned pro, VO Atlanta is a MUST DO for anyone in the industry. I've never experienced so much generosity, encouragement, and camaraderie in one place.

Special thank you to my instructors for the weekend: Amy Rubinate, Lori Alan, Johnny Heller, Jeffrey Kafer, and Scott Brick. I would also like to acknowledge Andi Arndt and Carol Monda who joined the audiobook panel and are a couple of my personal heroes!!

April 2017:

I'm so pleased to announce that I'm joining the Tantor family!!! I received word earlier this afternoon that I have the honor of narrating a Harper Bliss novel and I couldn't be happier. Though I've found great success with ACX and will continue to narrate outstanding books through the site, it's always been a goal of mine to team up with a publisher and it doesn't get any better than Tantor.

Pardon me while I do a Snoopy Dance :-)

The Experience

As a former improvisational actress, Melissa can identify moments in a manuscript that require real, raw emotion and bring dimension to your characters. Need fun and goofy for your children's book? She's got a head chock full of zany personalities. Need an ingĂ©nue for that young adult novel? Melissa's voice is just right. Need a heroine who can kick butt and take names? Melissa's a mom...she's got that part down. She meets deadlines and takes direction with enthusiasm. You can be confident that you're choosing the right voice for your project.
